    Águilas

Águilas is a lovely port-town situated on Costa Calida, at the border between Murcia and Almeria. Along the 34 km of seaside, you can find isolated bays and clear water beaches, like La Higuerica, La Carolina or Calabardina, urban beaches (Las Delicias) and one of the best areas on the Mediterranean coast for scuba diving, due to the excellent rocky bottoms, especially on Fraile Island and in the area surrounding Cape Code rock. CUSTOMS
Spain is a country full of light, colour, music, and joy. No matter where you are in Spain, you’ll find outdoor social venues where you can spend quality time with others. In the smaller villages, people still gather in the evenings for stories in front of the gate, and in the bigger towns, you’ll always have all the services you need at hand. It’s a country that’s active 24 hours a day, every day. Exercise areas, wilderness, tourist trails, markets, shops, leisure and sports areas, or cultural and musical activities, theatres, cinemas.

Spain has its own rhythm that sounds like the sea and music, but at the same time it has received influences from so many visitors that it is very easy to communicate and socialise with the people there.

    GASTRONOMY
The Costa Cálida area is known for its fruit and vegetables, but with the sea so close, it’s impossible not to bring up fish and seafood. In general, Spain is renowned for its gastronomy, with the traditional Valencian dish par excellence, Paella, famous the world over. Healthy, Mediterranean food, rich in vegetables, fish, seafood, meat, and vegetables. A diversity that you’ll find at home, right next door, often buying them from the very environment where they were grown. And all this without counting the diversity of fresh and seasonal fruit you can find and the wines, oils and liqueurs that are still made by hand in many of Spain’s villages and towns.

    CITIES
If you’re interested in big cities, you’re sure to find them in Spain. Madrid and Barcelona, for example, are two of the most beautiful cities in Europe and are also extremely well connected to the rest of the country and therefore easily accessible from any point of the Iberian geography. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, you can find villages and towns on the coast where you have everything at your fingertips, without having to leave them. Plus, a stone’s throw away are the Balearic Islands, known for their azure waters.

Take a look at the map, show us your ideal spot, and we’ll help you get to know it in detail, so you can be sure it’s really where you belong in the world.

    TRADITIONS
This is a country that still preserves many age-old traditions, some of which are recognised as cultural or heritage assets. The tradition of religious celebrations during Holy Week is known all over the world. The same, though perhaps not as famous, but precious for their uniqueness, are the festivities dedicated to the patron saint of the sea, which are celebrated in summer, especially, as you can well imagine, in areas with many fishermen. A little further south, Spain is famous for its sevillanas (typical Sevillian dances), and the April fairs held in Andalusia. And if you head north, you can enjoy the Fallas (popular celebrations in Valencia on St Joseph’s Day, 19th March, when allegorical figures are burned) and the spectacular night of San Juan.

  • FIND OUT MORE

We have been providing our customers with the service of managing their properties in Romania for more than 15 years (most of them being foreign investors). We don’t just want to help you find that dream place, we want to keep it for you in the best condition when you’re not there, and here’s why.

Dani came to Romania in 2006 as a real estate investor and felt the lack of property management companies, especially because he was the owner of a few here. He discovered that many other investors were in the same situation as he was, which led him to set up Grupo FDP, a property management company which, at its peak, managed around 500 properties in Bucharest, Constanta, Brasov, and Iasi.

What is our secret? The most important aspect is that we started as a service company unlike many real estate agents who have had to provide property management services to meet the needs of a segment of their customers but who did not have the experience or know-how to do so. This business requires transparency, dedication, effort, enthusiasm, and very good organisation. “It may seem easy to mediate the interaction between buyer and seller but when it comes to managing a property, there are a various of other factors involved starting with financial administrations, various suppliers/providers, property developers, lawyers, accountants, notaries, insurers and, in addition, a very good knowledge of the market,” explains Daniel Prieto, director of GRUPO FDP.
